Terms of access

Effective 31 August 2026. Version 1.1.

1. What this is

EURVISTA is a research prototype developed at University College Dublin under the All-Ireland Research Council's Translational Research Programme. It is not a commercial service, and no fee is charged.

There are two parts, and these terms apply differently to each. The public pages, which describe the project and carry its legal notices, may be read by anyone. The platform itself is in closed beta and is made available to a small number of invited people so that they can use the work and tell us where it falls short. Sections 4 and 5 apply to the platform.

Access is provided by University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4, Ireland. Contact contact@eurvista.com.

2. What is real and what is not

We take this distinction seriously and mark it on every page. Please read the badges.

In particular, the natural-language answer demonstration is entirely illustrative. The records it cites are real and verifiable, but the prose, the confidence statement and the audit trail around them are written by hand to show an intended design. There is no question answering system behind it.

3. No warranty, and not advice

The preview is provided as it stands, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available, complete, current or free from error, and we may change or withdraw it at any time without notice.

Nothing on EURVISTA is legal, regulatory, financial or professional advice. It is a research tool for finding and reading the public record. Before relying on anything you see here, follow the source link and check the original document. Every record we display carries one for that reason.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, University College Dublin accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this preview.

4. Your access to the platform

This section applies once we have issued you an account or a preview credential. Reading the public pages is not subject to it. By using those credentials you agree that:

We may withdraw access at any time, and will normally do so simply because a preview period has ended.

5. Source material and attribution

The documents, amendments, speeches, consultation submissions and voting records shown on EURVISTA are published by the EU institutions and are reused under their respective reuse and open data terms. Third-party texts are reproduced verbatim and attributed to their author, with a link to the original, and are never paraphrased or rewritten.

The compilation, the cross-institutional linking, the derived measures such as influence bands, and the interface are the work of the EURVISTA project.

If you are a rights holder and believe something here is used incorrectly, please write to contact@eurvista.com and we will deal with it promptly.

6. What the platform deliberately does not do

7. Data protection

How we handle data about you is set out in the privacy notice. How we handle data about the people who appear in the public record is set out on the data sources and your rights page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the project develops. The effective date at the top records the current version, and we will tell people who have access if anything material changes.
